WHO WE ARE

ETHAN MECHARE

Ethan’s career as a TV presenter and actor began in Los Angeles, where he presented shows on MTV, VH1, and TNT. He’s been in numerous plays and TV programs and started writing his solo show after he moved to London and took up a new career: naked house cleaning.

Ethan hosts an online talk show called Doin’ It With Ethan, where he interviews actors, musicians, internet sensations and attends wacky events. Coming Clean: Life as a Naked House Cleaner is his first solo show.

When he’s not performing or cleaning, he enjoys Instagram (follow him @thesilverfactory), knitting and eating cake.

JILL PATTERSON

DIRECTOR

Trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, Jill has a Masters in Performance (Musical Theatre) and is a director and actor. Jill is pleased to be working with Ethan on Coming Clean: Life as a Naked House Cleaner, as it tackles the real life struggles we all have with sexual experience, vulnerability and fulfilling our dreams.

CATH ROYLE

STAGE MANAGER/SIDEKICK

Cath has been working with Ethan as his stage manager/stooge since the beginning and has written some of the best lines in the show. Despite being one of life’s chief procrastinators with several scripts of her own “in development”, Cath has managed to work as a television producer on investigative documentaries for the BBC, Channel Four, Channel Five, Sky Arts and ITV. Ethan has told Cath that she can ride on his coat tails for as long as the seams will hold. Cath has also co-written scripts for radio and works as a chef (mainly for Ethan) when the TV work dries up.
